Hi, some People asked me a tut for my new pen so here it is. The pen's particularity is that it's a MP (Mechanical Pencil) and a Ballpoint pen same time!

You need :
1 Pentel RSVP [Body, Cap, Grip]
1 Faber-Castell Gripmatic [Grip, Body, Tip]
1 Pilot G2 [Body]
1 Anyball clickpart + A little grippart^^
1 . Cut of the winding of the G2 barrel then measure 2cm and recut. You'll get this :
2. Dissasemble the Gripmatic, cut it of just where the grip ends, but be carefull dont cut deep! The cut off the white mechanism 0,5 cm upside. Sand then the beginning of the green part so that it fits in the G2 barrel part. Put Finally tape on the green part (not where you have sanded). You shout have something like this now :
3. Dissasemble the RSVP and sand the Part where the backplug used to be, so that it fits in the other side of the G2 barrel. Be carefull, dont sand too much! If you have sanded too much, use a bit superglue.
4. Sand the clip of the RSVP cap down and cut it just under the little ball.
5. Dissasemble the Anyball, take the clickpart. Take some wooden baton (sorry, I dont know the word^^) put some tape on it and put it into the clickpart.
6. Cut 3 rings or more of the Anyball Grip, put it on the end of the cap and put the clickpart into.
7. Now you can assemble the whole Pen.
Hints :
Be very carefull at step 2 and 3.
Put the sanded RSVP part into the smaller side of the G2 barrel.
The Gripmatics are awaidable in Germany, France, Chine and other coutries.
The sanded part of the RSVP body is the weak point of this pen, be carefull dropping it^^
You may adjust the lengh of the RSVP ink tube
You must short the MP refill
If you use a RSVP ink tube you can't put in more than 1 MP refill
It doesn't make any noise at spinning!

This looks like a really nice mod, haven't seen one like it before. Some things you forgot to put in your tutorial are: How long and heavy it is.

Grip Matics are available in Germany, dunno about other countries.

If i understand this correctly you are pushing against the INK to click lead out, correct? Lead comes out of the front, and you need to write with pen on the other side?
If that is the case then wouldn't writing with pen be difficult because when you go to write with pen, any pressure on the pen tip as you write will push the ink inwards and click out lead? I know i've tried that in the past...having a MP mechanism and attaching a pen on the back, but i ditched the idea because when you go to try and write with pen it will end up clicking out lead and so you end up not being able to put any pressure on the pen tip as you write. -

Also, from making an SB Vortex, I learned how hard it is to sand the ridges on the RSVP back part -

Correct, but the pressure has to be strong, so you can write correctly! -

+1 creativity, my only suggestion is maybe a name change, since this is a Pen+pencil, a RSVP MPMX only describes the pencil. I'd R-MPMX is more appropriate.

I quite agree with you, but to tell the truth i would make this pen just for the awesome mechanicalness. I feel sure i'm not just speaking for myself when i say i carry around pens wherever i go, so unless someone is really lazy, they wouldn't spend the estimated time frame of 3 seconds of taking out their pen, so it's not really a big deal it's not the ideal ball point pen to write with. -

Nice pen! but isn't this quite front heavy because the GripMatic tip is almost same weight with a dr grip tip? Well Anyways I'ma try this mod
