Regular Pen Discussion / Anyball/Profile grip substitutes

i was wondering if anyone knew any decent substitutes for the anyball/profile grips. Living in Australia, i've never actually seen these grips first hand so i wouldn't know what they feel like. I know that these have parallel lines running down them so they are easier to cut. In Australia we have, g2 and supergrips made by pilot, these have about 8 sectors with lines running down it and it "looks" similar to the profile/anyball grips. Do you think these grips are a good substitute?

From the list in the Pens around the world thread, I would just suggest going with the sectioned portions of the grips from the Pilot G2 and Pilot Super Grip. They don't have the same texture and are stiffer, but still work quite well.

You could keep your eyes open for Star Gels Max, and otherwise check in some uhh.. hardware stores I think they are, like here in Sweden we have 12 packs of Anyball for not much.

There is no "best substitute" all I can suggest is try it out. Squeeze it in the store, see if its squishy.

Anyball/profile grips arent really "squishy" though...i would say they're softer than a g2 grip though with slightly more grip to it.

Really, G2 grips should be fine...you can even get them in various colours like anyball/profile grips so you should not fret too much about not having anyball grips

the g2 grips are quite widely used due to the shape and the length and also the avalibilty of pen, but its wise to use grips that are specified for the mod. I live in aus aswell and i can tell u that u can get the papermate profile pen from any officeworks.

This thread is 3 years old and Yam isnt an active spinner anymore.

As for profiles, they can be bought in singles in almost all news agencies, 4 packs in woolworths and officeworks.
