Shouldn't we first dig deeper into the whole fingerswitching business, of which Tipped Sonics is a part, before we start defining naming?

Thus 'We need more discussion before deciding'
Which is what I voted for.
Apperently yourself and sketching didn't vote yet. -

It would multiply the confusing-ness of this trick by at least 10 if we don't keep it consistent with the sonic, which is why we need to keep the 'normal' and 'reverse' modifiers.

but if we're keeping it consistent with the sonic, then this makes sense. We got rid of moonwalk sonics because sonics and moonwalk sonics are the same trick, they just go to different slots. The tipped sonic and tipped sonic reverse are the same trick, they just go different directions. So, following the same idea with the moonwalk sonic's, the tipped sonic reverse is not necessary.
Sfsr, if tipped sonic is indeed a fingerswitching trick, that just further supports that tipped sonic and tipped sonic reverse are the same trick, since they don't even have any rotation. -

@Sfsr: So far, I've taken finger switching to be a concept for more possible tricks, which would need to be added to the Trick Types discussion. I see Tipped Sonic as falling into the category of Finger Switching tricks.
In regard to the poll, I'm thinking that every trick should have atleast a "Normal" version for the base trick. The base trick could include certain finger slots (Thumbaround Normal T2-T1) and a particular direction of spin. Since Tipped Sonic has the pen spinning in the same way (no actual direction) for both the "Normal" and "Reverse" of Tipped Sonic, I would like there to only be a "Normal" without a related "Reverse" variation. Finger slot notation will tell you where the pen travels along the hand. -

sketching, i'd be fine with that for the official name, no one would actually bother putting normal in anyways..
