I haven't seen any detail on warnings, so I wondered:
Are warnings permanent or do they get removed after a certain amount of time?
Also, if warnings are currently permanent, I think that after say, 6 months, a warning should be dropped. I user picking up 5 warnings over 3 years should not get banned... /ignore that bit if warnings are not permanent. -

warnings are usually not permanent.
the exact "expiration" length will not be disclosed. -

...Under what circumstances are they permanent? Why is the "expiration" length not being disclosed? -

Because:
1) Members shouldn't be aware of the moderators internal warning system.
2) You should behave at all time, knowing that any infraction could lead to suspension, and having repeated infractions increase that chance.
3) To deter people for waiting on expiry dates in order to break the rules intentionally.
4) Stop people from trying to "live on the edge", knowing they have a small window of tolerance. -

However, in your case you might very well get banned with the next warning you get, looking at your history. You never know... Is flaming worth it?

I know I have 4/5 warnings... One of these warnings is very old however, but it seems that it must be about one year before warnings are taken off (if they are taken off at all) and I also dispute one of the warnings I was given, that I got for 'spamming', which is total bull as I don't spam (however there is no system by which you can really dispute a warning).
