January 16, 2009 Update:
0.1.4 has been updated to revision 3:
videos can not be submitted after the due date; if you require a due date change, please have all members of the battle pm xshadowfire until an automatic cancellation and due date change request system is implemented.
Thanks to xshadowfire's great work, we now have a (semi) working ladder system
The new system is automated and will manage battles, create new polls, compute the new rankings, etc.

It's still in progress, so it only supports 1vs1, public voting matches. Luckily, this is the most common kind of match. For the rest, ask xshadowfire.
You're still required to create your challenge thread before issuing a challenge in the ladder system. -

Currently planned development roadmap:
0.2:
- Change the video you submitted
- Cancel challenges
- Error handlers (Right now there are error pages, but no messages)
- View the battles of other users
- Change poll runtime (currently it's one week)
- Enforce due date (right now it's just...there. even if you're late it won't do anything.)
- Quit ladder
Possible:
- Automatic PM Notification (challenges, upcoming deadlines. If it's not added in 0.2, it definitely will be in 0.3)
- Prune inactive members (same case as above)
Projected release: wednesday or thursday?
More to come later. Feel free to pitch me ideas if you have any. -

Maybe notification on the 6th week after the spinner's last battle if he/she hasn't battle since that and is going to get kicked when 2 months due without a battle.

How about a certain page where everyone can submit their challenges and view what they require for the battle (I.E Spinning time, certain theme etc..)
That way we might get rid of a subforum but you will be able to view all the challenges and pick one of your liking quicker. -

not the fabulous update that was expected, but now, 2 months later, I finally got off my ass and add two features: quit the ladder, and edit your video.
I planned on finishing the entire 0.2, but it's just too much work with school.

@xshadowfire: It would be cool if you can do that^^..Search results with people who have spun for 3 months or 4 months..1 year...so that we could have battles with people who have same lvl as ours..Is that possible? -

i never tried it cause i don't want to quit but on the right side of the ladder, there should be a button that says quit and should say something like
Main • My Battles • Issue Challenge • Quit
