try to get most fps from your cam, (turn off auto exposure, film with enought light), set the capture format as .avi
then convert onto .wmv 320x240 and upload on youtube...

that is my way how to film and save videos..try it...

i reccomend you newest version of AMCap for video capture

its possible your computer is too slow, close other apps

I dl'ed AMCap (Demo version it says >.>) and is it normal tht 20secs video has 100mb?? My own camera program has like 10mins for 100mb

Yeah it's normal... my webcam's videos come out large, but once you compress (or render with wmm/another video editing program) it becomes pretty small. AVI tends to be larger than WMV btw.

I've had this problem before but I have a Logitech webcam. What I did was just uninstall the drivers used for the cam and reinstall the old drivers that came with the cam. After that, every time I got a notice saying there's a driver update, I would just hit "Cancel".

My cam is Microsoft Lifecam VX-3000

And now i know tht the problem is Lifecam 1.3 which is the capture program of the own webcam. I just need to get a new one, i tried AMCap but, 1minute of video = 100mo >_< I dunt want tht, otherwise my comp will get full quickly.

I tried Virtualdub, seems not working..

Any other video capture program u guys use?

EDIT: I dl'ed CaptureFlux and its works fine biggrin.gif , Last questions: Why u guys recommend me to capture the video in format .avi? avi format = 200mo / min O_O while .wmv = 3mo/min lol and whts the best thing to do when rendering for the best quality? resolution and customization and all ( im rendering and editing with Sony Vegas 8.0 btw)

The file size doesn't depend on the container, but the codec. You need to compress it. Easiest way is just to use a free converter, there are many around.
