Came up with this the other day, spins pretty cool. so why not?

Looks nice.
Made one simliar to this a few days ago but was too lazy to sand the bumps on the front of the g3 and kept the old g3 grip and added a few profiles on top.
I will try your way when I get home. -

Looks nice! But I'm not digging the name, since a regular g3MX has the original g3 grip on the front, but its probably better than what I would have come up with.
Its kind of similar to my G3 mod HG2G3 (link in sig). -

I made this with the idea of use as little pens necessary, but without modifying the body (minus a tincy bit of sanding).
The momentum/spinning is very different, i've made both of your mods, it does spin very different, that and I asked around, even K4S gave me the go ahead on it haha.
The ink wont leak...when you use G3 ink or G2 ink...you'll have to like Dip a tooth pick into the back constantly for ANY ink to come out lol. trust me on that one. -

have you tried using a g3 tip in the cap instead of 2 hgg tips? This would make the ^2 part more sense if it used 2 g3 and 2 hgg. The remaining hgg tip could be put wherever balance is needed

I tried that..i disliked how it spun..it just felt bulky at that point. -

there are 2 type of G3
one with print and one does not.
but they are the same IMO
i have 2 G3 mods
G3MX^2 and HG3R
G3MX with signature print
my hg3r does not

Whats the point of using 3 hgg tips, when two of them get shoved in a cap. Is it really worth it? They weigh very little and I doubt it helps. If it weren't for the 3rd HGG tip you could of wound up only using two HGGs. There's so many thing that are a lot cheaper and probably weigh more, like the metal part and eraser of a pencil for example.

Cause alot of ppl like and have HGGs and it would actually help or it would be unbalanced and a "metal part and eraser of a pencil" metal parts cannot always be obtained easily and erasers are just too light and look like shit
Ive tried this mod and it spins well only part that i don't like is the use of anyball/profile grips cause i just don't... -

i made it yesterday, and i love this mod. Partly because i have 2 hggs in the front (because i had a plastic G3), and 1 hgg in the back, which makes it still COG=COP =D
if you make it this way it spins like a balanced mx, but not like a lead stick like a triple tipped mx^2 -

1. does it only affect the weight or does it also affect the balance? how much of a difference?
2. how do u put the anyball sections in the front and back? for the front, do u just unscrew the tips and stick them in? for the back, ...just stick them in? lol.

The Anyball grips can be cut into a 3 section and put onto the back of the g3 cap.
The anyball in the front, just cut 3 sections and place on the front as well.
Nothing I can do to explain it better haha. -

lol!! that happened to me too!! g3 ink and any other gel inks are always very dangerous so i'd always empty gel ink first before reversing it.. hahas
