    Welcome to my tutorial


    Name: ComPrecise
    CoG: CoP
    Length: 20.5cm
    Weight: Dr. KT > ComPrecise > RSVP MX
    Cost: $6.00 ~ $9.00


    Pens Needed:
    -Pilot Precise v5 [2]
    -Signo Tip [2]
    -Dong-A Sign Pen body [1]
    -Grips of choice






    1. Take off the top slot on the Precise Caps





    2. Insert a Signo Tip into the Precise Cap (Do this for BOTH caps)


    3. Empty the Dong-A Sign Pen body (Take out the ink stick and ink tip)




    3. Tape inside the marked area of the Dong-A Sign Pen body with about 7 centimeters of tape (You might have to improvise here)


    4. Lastly put the Precise Caps onto the Dong-A Sign Pen body


    5. And you're done!








    Pros:
    -Nice momentum
    -Easy to make
    -Parts are easy to find
    -Silent when spun


    Cons:
    -Expensive for some people
    -Cannot write unless you keep the ink inside

    do you know if v7 caps work the same way? cause i think i have some v7 caps lying around...

    I think this tutorial is done better anyways and if Kam doesnt lock or merge this than it will probably stand

    yup... its very well done.
    As well, this version doesnt use G3 tips, which are why more difficult for North Americans to get, apposed to the signo tip.

    few questions for anyone who cares to answer: can the body be subbed with supertips or for clear body, K4S's Clearbody Kt technique? is this what has been referred to as a comPPa or something? and 1 last one: what colors do V5 caps come in? can i get white ones?

    As for substitute bodies, namae bodies will work but i think a supertip body would be too thick for the caps to fit

    and V5s come in pink, sky blue, green, red, blue, black, and indigo

    sorry, to tell you the truth, i dont know the diameter difference between Keityos or Comssa bodies at all. how do you research the thickness of a body?

    i'm pretty sure v5 and v7 caps are the same =\
    the only difference is the size that they write in, but really, who writes with pens nowadays rolleyes.gif
    but even so, the aspect of it using signo tips instead of g3 tips is much more appealing to people living in the US happy.gif

    obviously if i had both bodies, i would know which one is thicker. ive never seen either of them.

    Technically this mod still belongs to you since you created it first. Subbing g3 tips for signo tips doesnt make this a "new mod" You can work out any issues with Tone as far as credits and name.

    But I disagree with you that this is one of those personal mods because it is actually quite good. After all, the Frat MX2 used pilot precise caps and that is what my Ballsign Precise was based on. This is a just using a different body. It allows a way to use up extra comssa bodies with a lot of color customization and adjustable length and weight. Tips or other weights can be put easily into the long pilot caps to make it heavier, or if you just dont like the metallic look.

    But yea Tone isnt entirely deserving of this praise since uniifirex already published a tutorial for this and it does kinda bug how much more attention Tone is getting for this. Thats UPSB for ya
