Smoothness comes with practice, that's all you can do. There's no way to specifically train smoothness.
and could you rephrase your first question, I don't really understand it :\ -

first question is "how is a trick considered smooth"

Smooth is the consistency of speed.
And uhh... someone wonna add to that? -

smoothness is made by linking tricks smoothly, like with one motion?
can't put it into words ._. -

Concentrate on performing as little extra movement as possible. When performing two tricks together, there should not be any obvious hesitation between the two and as little jolting of the pen as possible.

Smooth is where it flows and looks clean, not all choppy and different speed. The trick must flow in a easy movement and have a consistent speed.

Like the others said, smoothness is the seamless transitioning between two tricks. In order to do this, I suggest you do the following things:
-Become familiar with the beginning and ends of the two tricks you want to link together.
-Start practicing the linking. Have stops at first, but work your way to gradually lessen the stopping time until it seems like there's no stopping at all.
-Inspect the spin and orientation of the pen during the linking. Does it require you to tilt your hand? Does it have a change in direction? Try to make adjustments so the transition is as smooth and clean as possible.
-Keep practicing. -

smoothness for me , is the linkage in combo and also doing the motion correctly, like a good charge or sonic, not one what is choppy
it should have a "flow" like continuous and smooth
smoothness require praticse -

Can speed be counted as smooth??? Some people say yes and some people say no...i am still confused...and sorry for my bad english..

Not necessarily. It's possible to be fast and choppy. A smooth combo means the tricks should flow well from one to another without pause or readjusting. Having a consistent speed usually helps but is not needed to be smooth. See Bonkura's combos.

"Charge" just practice it and keep link tricks together
smoothness depending on your style too. for example Bonkura , Minwoo , Eriror ,, etc , just watch they vids , they have differrents "smooth"
sorry for my bad english -

""Usually"", A trick is not considered smooth..Only linking tricks can be smooth. And you can not develop smoothness..It has to be in you (and practice..like evry1 said). I see lots of people who die to get the sonic rise (sonic34-23 - sonic23-12) smooth. They have a small pause in between the sonics. To get it smooth, alnog with practice you have to develop a charge like motion which can be acquired by the final part of sonic34-23 and beginning part of sonic23-12. Same goes for TW sonic to Shadow. Right after you finish the TW sonic you continue it to a charge like motion which helps to get the boost for shadow. Do now worry if you dont have smoothness. Everybody has had their times. You will get it in time and practice. -

if a combo is smooth, then it is blurred..
it looks like one trick. no pauses. -

Err what? The only way to become smooth is to guess what, develop it. Smoothness comes with time and it just depends on how much you practice.
