This happens every once in a while so I suggest changing to irc.synirc.net cause that's the only one that myself and my friends never had problems with.

yea sorry never had problems with quakenet except the occasional disconnect, changing it would be a lot of hassle for nothing.

This happens to me too, but fixing this problem is quite easy. You just have to join Quakenet from a different region's server. So when I join quakenet, I use "uk.quakenet.org" and this fixes the problem.

    /server uk.quakenet.org
    /join #uspb

Using different server than quakenet these times isn't really wise. It has so many cons against few pros. I am happy with quakenet aswell, since it's the server where I've been since I first started internet tongue.gif
