So I have been spinning for about 3 months. I decided that I really want to get the pass down and get rid of my old clunky version. After practicing for a few days, my hand became sore. Now it hurts, but only really when i flex my fingers, like bend them all down as if you were going to make a fist but stopped 1/2 way. My hand has been feeling this way for about 2 days now and i'm starting to worry! Is this common? I hope I havent ruined my hand!
Also, i was wondering if anyone started spinning being unable to bend their pinky without the ring finger moving. I can bend the pinky at the big knuckle(the one that connects it to the hand) but not the middle knuckle, without finger 3 moving :-\ Did anyone overcome this, and if so how? -

I used to really struggle with this. Now the ring finger still moves, but not nearly as much as before. Perhaps due to piano practice...
I would suggest that if a certain trick is causing pain it is best to stop. If the pain continues for more than 3 days go and see a doctor. -

I'd suggest simply giving you hand some rest. Wait a few days, don't spin, and see what happens. if even after a few days It'll still be sour, go to see a doctor, but it might just disappear in a day or two. remember, practicing is good, but don't push your hands too much.
If you're really bored you can try to spin with your other hand for a bit =P -

Haha yea good idea maybe i can finally get a TA with my left hand. It's harder then one might think to stop spinning when you are typically constantly doing it lol.

I think it might just be the finger pass because when I was working on it, my hand became pretty sore as well.

yeah, fingerpass can make your hand sore
best way is just to not practice it, let your hand relax until the pain goes away, and then practice some more!
if the pain continues for a long time, i would advise seeing a doctor. as Resonance said

Well if you play vast amounts of guitar hero you hand learns to take the pain. Then again who knows maybe its just me
Unless you spin with your hand that you strum with then it might not help
