Hand Care / Fingers Bending Back

Hey guys. You guys have any advice on how to make my fingers bend back? Of you dont understand what Im talking about watch this vid of Peem. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0X9gK1RBFc...feature=related
Notice how his fingers kind of arc back when he spins? Dongza also does it kinda. Does this only happen when you spin fast you think? And will only long fingers be able to do it? I want to be able to do it, cause it would make my spinning look better. but my fingers aren't that flexible and my fingers are short. Iv tried just holding them in the position for a while but it just hurts and doesn't seem to do anything. -

I would think it would be like hitch hiker thumbs, which would mean its genetic. Mine can't do it either

It's pure genetics. I have an extreme form of that myself. When I extend my fingers, they simply arch back. I can never keep them straight.

i have a slight form of that
and why would u try to make your fingers like that... dont torture them. cherish them
it probably wouldnt change your spinning much imo
just develop your own style and make it appealing instead of trying to be someone else -

i'm able to be bend my thumb all the way back so it touches the top of your arm. I did this because when I was little I always wanted to be able to bend my thumb all the way back, so I bent it back as far as it would go when I was little. I'm guessing daily stretching of the fingers could result in you being able to bend them further, but it might not. I will begin to bend my fingers every day and see what happens.

My hitch hikers thumb is to the extreme. I can bend it more than half way to the back of my thumb. I can sit it at 90 degrees easily. and it can go further than that. x.x Is this good or bad btw?

Its unique, I don't see it being a bad thing, but it would be up to you to figure out how to make it into a good thing -

What about me? Do I have a hitchhiker's thumb? -

are you guys talking about thumbs or fingers?
if it's fingers, i can attest that it is not only genetic
you can easily force a curve by stretching your fingers
traditional cambodian dance classes have their students press their hands against the inside of a bowl as part of their daily training -

lol charlie
you know the dances i'm taking about?
where they take slow long steps and move their hands around all weird
yeah well they want their fingers to bend back for that so that's what they do
they also push on their elbows til their joint can invert slightly >>
it's kinda sick -

Yeah, I remember the dances. That's why it was pretty surprising when you brought that up.
What do you mean about the elbow thing? ._. -

lol stop posting your thumbs I can do a 180 degree angle between thumb and middle finger (yeah, and that's exactly why is my span 25.5cm) without helping with my other hand.

Have you guys seen kin's fingers? Holy shit I WANT HIS HAND xD Anyway I feel like posting pics of a 1 month endevour to get my fingers bending slightly backwards
First day:
Hmmm... They seem quite bendy already o.0 Doing this with left hand because making an effort to start spinning lefty because of failing pinky on right hand
Will stop project part way through if I'm satisfied with results -

it looks more stylish imo -

I don't think you want the curve, dude. Most spinners don't like my fingers because they have the odd curve. But, whatever floats your boat.
Example: -

my Thumb and Ring. (Others are similar)
So I think it doesn't really help with spinning. It's only easy to do Counter CounterCounter Counter TA by my Thumb... -
