Well the other day I was trying to spin but I failed. I hate dry hands...
So I go to eat an orange but bc I am a lazy person i don't bother peeling it right away but instead start to fiddle with it.
Idk just like tossing it up rolling it around and whatnot.
Finally I actually peel it and eat it.
    It was tasty.
But to my suprise I could spin after.
The residue left from the rind of the orange made my hands not dry, not wet and just a tiny bit tacky.
    Perfect for PSing.
I have tried many many things but tbh this is the best thing i have used so far.
    What do you guys think?

    and it smells nice

    the picture made me lol.

but yeah, orange oil is used in a bunch of cleansers and stuff; wood care, grease..remover, air freshener, soup.
But on your hands, I never thought of O_o

The feeling on someones hands as they spin would very from person to person. When my hands are tacky it feels too dirty and weird to spin, but spinning right after washing my hands feel weird too. So that feeling may just be your preference.

    P.S. Oranges are delicious.

I'm pretty sure people used to eat oranges before battle and shit so that they wouldnt lose their grip on their axes
and swords and shit. Could just be my imagination but I could swear that I read it somewhere. I always get really dry
hands and I cant really spin unless the heaters on because thats when my hands start to sweat abit and get a little tacky and
    perfect for spinning.

Okay i'll try this out because I happen to have an orange handy... before and after? =]

    Before:

    After:

Personally I didn't notice that big of a difference, =\
dry.gif it may just be that you got warmer when you ate? or that messing with it jsut warmed up your hands?...
Maybe consistancy a little bit, but not really, it was probably because I just woke up and spinning for the first time compared to the second...
I didn't really feel anything new however =(.

Really? Washing your hands temporarily removes the oil from your hand, making it harder to create a smooth combo, well at least for me.
As for the orange thing, it usually leaves sticky marks on my hand. I still prefer natural skin oils

I find spinning after washed hands is hard too, as warm water dries out your skin... huh.gif

wet hands seems to help pen contact to a point but I think it just makes spinning feel better ( doesn't actually improve spinning ability)

I tried out the orange thing after I showered and noticed that my hands were really dry.

Yeah, it works alright if your hands are dry, but you could probably get the same effect with some lotion.

I dunno, I find that lotion, and things like that make my hand a littlegreasy feeling, i prefer to just rinse it a bit in cold water and start spinning

When ever my hands are cold, i find that it's hard to move them around. When I go into my school after a cold walk it's hard to unlock my locker. I think it's best if your hands are warmed up with blood pumping in them.

Works the same with water after I have come out of the shower...

WIth the shower It depens how long the shower was. like If you get out and theyre wet it will be its stickish feel. But if you stay in hot water for a while then dry your hands then your hands have a SUPER smooth and almost slick feel. alittle to slick. This is when your hands get "pruned" If you know what that means.

I hope you realize this topic is about oranges and there are seperate topics to discuss other forms of hand care.

If you take a shower and touch or use conditioner or shampoo, it'll rinse the oils off your hands, leaving a slippery feel. >_>

loooool so many replies. mm for me when i wash my hands they get suuuper dry... i usually put some lotion on so for a little bit they are great for spinning. but the oranges just help when my hands are dry and i already have some lotion on. idk they are a quick fix for when my hands arent dirty or whatnot.
