Is it just me or do you spin "better" aka consistency, and style if you take a long absence from spinning (after an intense few weeks)

heres a spinning regemint based off of when I personally burn out.

    1 week intense spinning
2 weeks rest or casual spinning

    discuss.

I think it would be slightly different.
2 weeks seems a bit too long, maybe 1- 1 1/2 week of rest?

That sounds like a plan. My hand is aching after 4 days of non stop spinning. Maybe it's time for a break.

during the day i usually do hardcore spinning at night and during the day i spend my time doing casual spinning/practicing tricks i haven't mastered yet and i found that to be really helpful because during the day you allow your hand to warm up and become flexible and during the night you tire out your hand and burn the trick into your memory then allow it to rest throughout the night (usually 8am-6pm of casual and 6pm-11pm of hardcore spinning/practice)

if you intensively train conts you will get good at them unbelievably quickly (like use 1 hour/day for like 3 weeks or so)

style...it depends. you should make a conscious effort though, coz just taking a break is unlikely to change your style significantly i think =\

well more practice = better consistency. enough said xD

Whatever you do, don't expect to improve your spinning by just spinning casually every day, like me... I doubt it'll affect style though unless your trying to change your style 'cause your style will stay with you forever. (it's more of a natural thing than a skill, you can't forget how to spin in your style.)

i think that if you practice on a trick for a day, rest the next day, then practice again the day after that, you get a slight improvement. This kinda happened to me once, might work for you

The only reason i stop spinning is because my hands hurt or i am busy. I tried not spinning for a week and came back to it. I didn't really see much of a change except for my hands not aching.
