Okay guys,my fingers weren't long last time. After psing and other finger manipulation stuffs, they became longer. My toes became longer too >.> haha.
In penspinning,i also tried to stretch my fingers so that i can be like Dathroat's style.
SO i come to the conclusions that
1.Penspinning/Other finger manipulations makes your fingers grow longer.
2.Because i was having a growth spurt,i stretched alot and my fingers also grew very very long.
    3.Genes.

i think it's mainly the 2nd and 3rd that are causing the extended fingers. you just happened to be going through a growth spurt at around the same time as the start of your finger manipulations tongue.gif

    agreed with Wind
for 1st i think you made it a reason because of the flexibility pen spinning and other hand manipulations give. flexibility of the fingers always makes them look.... longer.... blink.gif

    Firstly,heheh,where's Wind?
Secondly,my fingers are so long that they are not proportional to my size.I am only 1.5m and my fingers and like 18.2cm.One of the longest in my class.Even a guy 1.75 has the same as length as mine. And my pinkie is as long as a girl's middle finger in class. Now how do you explain that?

My hands and fingers are so long ! at first, when I started PS I think it's too ugly... then, I spin the way I feel, and now It's an important part of my spinning style biggrin.gif ...

    P/s : can S.O organize a "long fingers collab" ?? tongue.gif haha ...sound good ?

Im pretty sure theres a mutation in the connection or wtvr that sometiems causes your fingers and other ligaments arms and legs to be out of poportion or extremly flexible idk what it's called though...

    Growth spurt?Like Robert Waldow?
    Or hypermobility?Like Fire@Fox?

Based on what I know of biological adaptation, your fingers will naturally grow longer and the muscles gets more flexible over time if you spin relatively frequently. The reason being when you start spinning, you use your finger muscles a lot more than before hence the brain realises that the hand area will need more flexibility and over time your fingers will get more flexible. For the longer fingers part, longer fingers are more optimum for PSing. Also when we spin, we normally stretch outward so the brain will direct more resources to develop that part of the body. The hand area is one of the most adaptable part of the body (I think). If you notice the lines on your hand will change around every 5 years. The same thing happens with swimming. Passionate swimmers will have a larger webbing over time (not the frog type one but generally larger) for more surface area on the hand when paddling.

    hah good catch
well do you have proof that your fingers were shorter before? o.O
otherwise.. lol genetics? if your parents or grandparents had long fingers maybe. maybe you're just one of a kind who had a mutation in the fingers tongue.gif
in any case i can assure you that over my pen spinning career my fingers have not grown at all. they're still like.. 16.5 cm long haha since 4 years ago. i hit my growth spurt awhile back tongue.gif

Mine have seemed to grow as well. Not by a lot but due to the increase in flexibility, perhaps that has to do with the growth.
