The skin on my fingertips peals constantly.

The only fix that I've found is using a large nailfile and sanding in down while in the shower everyday. tongue.gif

    doctor

my mum works in the hospital and she gave lotion that she get from doctor at hospital. but its not good.

outlander will your skin grow thicker and thicker everyday by doing this? if not i'll give it a try by peeling the skin on my hands.

btw, my hand skin cracks from the base of my finger, not the tips, so its hard to sand.

I would try another lotion. Maybe for whatever reason this one doesn't work for you, but another would.

That should only happen if you wash your hands too frequently and/or use too much water.

That's not totally true. Some people naturally have very dry skin, and some people live in climates that are particularly bad for skin heath. It's not fair to put all the blame on a person's hand washing technique.

this cracking thing start happening to me after my trip back from korea when its winter there(i wasnt spinning that time). it was 2 years ago. muy skin went dry since that time...till now. and yes, the situation worsen when i wash my hands in a cold a conditioned room.

i live near the equator, which means its summer all year.

You may suffer from eczema. Its a skin condition i have that makes certain parts of my skin VERY dry. As with me lotion doesn't have any long term effects on my skin when they do get dry, just hydrates them for the time being.

Try soaking your hands with with water to make it wrinkle, try body wash and clean your hands with them, put on Aveeno Lotion ( The pink one works best, no itch, faster drying, less sticky)

Oh yeah, this only gonna make it smooth, won't remove the cracks

    its this:

and to take care of my hands from any future damage, i try not to touch washing detergents, or wear a glove.

EUCERIN. That's the best moisturizer I've ever used.
