Hand Care / Spinning Hand Numb?

Does anyone else get this where when you pick up your pen your hand becomes like pseudo-numb? It's kind of hard to explain but when I start spinning my hand goes almost completely numb and the only thing I can feel is where the pen is touching my hand. This only happens with spinning its almost like the pen became a part of my hand or something. I can feel exactly where the pen is at all times when spinning but the rest of my hand just feels dead. It's actually kind of annoying, I'm just wondering if this happens to anyone else. mellow.gif

I experienced this too. My explanation though for me was that my hand was adapting to the environment. In the winter, I would stay in spinning a pen for a period of time (A week or so at Christmas break), but then once it comes time to leave the house, when I get back, my hand has the "numb" feeling your having. I guess it's because it wasn't used to being outside, out in the cold weather.

But it's not winter, so I really don't know what your explanation could be dunno.gif

Hey i experienced this too before, with a really nice HCMX. But I think that was because I just came out of a air-conditioned room to room temperature (28 deg celcius). But it kinda feels cool, like the pen is part of your hand. I always thought it was a mental thing though. mellow.gif

Getting a numb hand from spinning often comes from doing cont tricks, which locks the hand in the same repetitive motion. Try to take a break from cont tricks now and then, and make a small freestyle or something in between, making the pen travel in the opposite direction from the trick you were doing previously.

But I haven't been doing cont. tricks. Its just from all around spinning, it doesn't matter the time, place, or what I'm doing. I don't know its just really weird, I just get the feeling the moment I pick up a pen, either writing, or spinning.

I think its still the same concept only it takes even longer. If you've been spinning for long periods over a period of days, like almost the whole time you're awake for weeks, then your hand will still feel that same repetitive motion, but just takes longer.

That's natural. You're just not used to the weight, or the texture is different, or both.

That never happens to me. That's wierd. But sometime I might be doing the charge or charge reverse without noticing it. Or that one time I was doing the infinite without noticing it. You mean like that?

No, thats just force of habit.

Ok imagine this. You're spinning normally, then when you look at your pen, it doesn't feel like the pen and the hand contact anymore, despite the fact that you are still spinning. The hand or in our case, the fingers are numb.

Try doing a double charge for a long time, it might work.

after i spin a heavyheavy pen for a week, and i switch it to a short pen i feel this.
maybe the muscle adapted to the heavy pen.

OMG THATS EXACTLY IT. Except it happens no matter what I do, and I can just feel the pen like its an attachment of my hand. And I only can feel my hand where the pen touches it.

maybe you have some sort of serious neurological problem.....jk
when the pen keeps hitting ur hand muscles more blood flows too them, making them numb....
try some hot water on ur hands.....if that don't help then just ignore it.....it's nothing rly to worry about, besides being annoying

    this happens to me sometimes....(but i'm not pen spinning....if you catch my drift) mellow.gif huh.gif happy.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif wink.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif laugh.gif sleep.gif
